We wouldn't change being mums for all the chocolate in the world, but sometimes we could really do with a break, even for just a few hours. 

 

Motherhood is both exhilarating and wonderful, but if you are displaying any of the following symptoms then you are in need of a night out!

 

1. Slippers are the ONLY thing you are interested in right now

You haven’t put on real shoes since Baby was born.

 

2. You have LITERALLY run out of things to watch on Netflix

You have binge watched everything and are considering turning on Cbeebies!

 

 

3. You have ‘good’ tracksuit bottoms

And you only pull them out if someone is calling over...

 

4. You have baby sick in your hair

Since yesterday morning...

 

5. The last ‘night out’ was to the late night grocery store to buy ice-cream

But you did wear your ‘good’ coat (over your pyjamas).

 

 

6. You hair has not seen a brush for weeks

Did someone say bird’s nest?!

 

7. You can’t remember the last time you ate an entire dinner

Your youngster usually has a meltdown just as you are about to sit down...

 

8. You do your face before the takeaway delivery person rings the doorbell

If they are only outsiders to see you this weekend, you better look half-decent.

 

 

9. You don’t even know if your friends are in the same country anymore

Being a mum doesn’t lend time to Whatsapp groups...

 

10. You could really do with a night off from talking about poop
