And considering it can often become a storage area for items that simply won’t fit in the house, and there is often very little time to clean it, you are guaranteed to find at least one or two of these items down the backseat.
1. An old soother
You thought you had seen the last of them at Christmas but one will always rear its head when you don’t want it to.
2. Some food
Move the car seat and you will no doubt find a few crumbs, raisins, or even a sandwich squished under the chair.
3. Socks
They have a knack of making their way from the washing machine to the car without you even doing anything.
4. A broken toy
You’re terrified to do anything with it in case your youngster realises it’s gone.
5. An empty coffee cup
Ok, not necessarily your toddler’s fault but you totally needed it the morning after they didn’t go to sleep until 4am...
6. The remote control
You have been looking for it for longer than you’d like and all the time it was hiding under the passenger seat.
7. Juice carton
You don’t even remember giving your little one this but there it is staring at you from the floor.
8. Stickers
On the back of the seat, all over the windows and on the floor, and they are extremely tricky to get off.
9. A shoe
How you never noticed it was missing you’ll never know!
10. Some unexplained sticky item...
