Getting your five a day is important, especially when you're breastfeeding.
But certain fruits can do more harm than good for breastfeeding mums and their tots.
Here are a few fruits you should avoid, and why...
Citrus fruits
They may be great sources of Vitamin C, but citrus fruits like oranges, grapes, lemons and limes can add an acrid flavour to your milk. This can upset your baby's tummy.
Pineapple
Extremely acidic in nature, pineapple can make your milk rancid. Not only will your baby turn their nose right up at this, it could also give them a nappy rash.
Strawberries
While strawberries are great sources of vitamins and minerals, eating them to excess can give your baby a serious allergy. If you have a family history of strawberry allergies, ask your baby's doctor if you should exclude them from your diet.
Signs of allergic reactions include gas formation, diarrhoea, fussiness and skin rashes.
Kiwi
Certain properties in kiwis can make your baby feel gassy and bloated. Consume them if you like, but keep them to a minimum.
Cherries
As cherries are a natural laxative, it's best to avoid them when you're breastfeeding. Your baby won't be happy if you overdo it, and you'll have a hell of a lot of nappies to change too!
Prunes
This is much the same as cherries, at least when consumed excessively.
