Thankfully, the wait is over, because the Lord of the Rings star took to her Instagram page late last night to make the big reveal.
Sharing a beautiful photo of her baby’s tiny hand holding a pendant with a blue stone and a silver anchor on it, the mother-of-two simply wrote: “Sailor Gene Gardner”.
It certainly is a unique choice, and we bet there is a story behind it, especially in light of how she chose to make the announcement.
The 37-year-old and her partner, David Gardner, welcomed little Sailor on February 11, with the star’s dad Steven Tyler going on to share a photo of a remarkably fresh-faced Liv just one day later.
While Sailor is the first child for Liv and David, both have children from previous relationships; Liv is also mum to 10-year-old son Milo, and David is dad to seven-year-old son Gray.
