Aden Country Park in Mintlaw is to host a Heritage Fair on Sunday, September 25th, from 11am to 4pm.

 

The event has been designed to celebrate the local culture and farming traditions unique to Aberdeenshire, illustrating what life was like for country people in the past and how it has shaped Aberdeenshire’s countryside today. 

 

The Aden Heritage Fair will include traditional music and performance, craft demonstrations, rare breed animals, family history, photographic display, country fair, vintage and classic cars, access to the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum, and a range of heritage related displays, stalls, and activities that will provide a rich and diverse event attracting tourists and the local community to Aden Country Park.

 

Traders at the country fair will include handcrafted jewellery and cards, locally grown plants, handmade craft goods, Scentsy products, locally made jams, marmalades and chutneys, sweets and confectionary, locally produced eggs, Summerhouse drinks of Fraserburgh and much much more.
