This much-loved actress, who has experienced fertility problems in the past, is said to be considering the adoption process with her husband-to-be.

Courteney Cox, formerly married to Scream star David Arquette, is due to tie the knot with Snow Patrol star Johnny McDaid later this year and according to reports, the smitten pair are said to have signed up to adoption agencies in the hope of starting a family together.

Courteney, who shares a 10-year-old daughter with former partner David underwent IVF in order to welcome Coco into her life, but now she hopes to offer a loving home to a child in need of it.

50-year-old Courteney got engaged to Johnny last year and the pair are said to be excited about starting a family together.
 


The star and her Irish fiancé think the adoption route is a fantastic option, with an insider revealing: "Courteney and Johnny see adoption as the perfect way to add to their family, while also doing something good for a child who needs a loving home."

While the adoption route can be a long and drawn-out process at some points, Courteney and Johnny are happily planning for the future, with a source close to the couple saying: "She's so excited that she's already started making plans for a nursery at their Malibu beach house."

The prospect of adding to her family has thrilled Courteney, with an insider saying: "They still have a long way to go before they can officially adopt, but Courteney can't wait to be a mum again."
