And then there were four: Alex Jones welcomes a baby boy

Huge congratulations are in order for Alex Jones who has welcomed her second child. The One Show host gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on May 13.

She confirmed the news by posting a photo of her holding her son's little hand.

Alex revealed her baby boy's name is Kit. The traditional name is of English origin and means 'bearer of Christ.'

The presenter captioned the stunning black and white snap, "And then there were 4!!!"

"Little kit Thomson arrived safely and very speedily last Monday at 2.21am weighing a healthy 7lbs 3.

Alex thanked the nurses and midwives who helped her deliver her second son at Queen Charlotte Hospital, "A huge thank you to the midwives at the birth centre, Queen Charlotte Hospital for everything you did for us."
