She’s known for being a bit of a marmite character, but we reckon there are a lot of mums out there who will just love Anne Hathaway for her latest comments.

The Les Misérables actress welcomed her first child, Jonathan, back in March, and she had plenty to say on the dreaded ‘post-baby body’ subject this weekend.

Stepping out for the premiere of her new movie, Colossal, the 33-year-old said she is fully embracing the changes that motherhood has brought to her body.

“I’m not trying to recapture something that was. I’m going with what it is now,” she told InStyle.

The award-winning actress added: “Some things, I guess, are the same as they were, and other things are a little bit different. I’m just so proud of what the changes signify. So, there’s no rush to do anything.”

While the very thought of exercise is enough to reduce us to tears – especially when we have little ones to look after – Anne now has a totally different philosophy, it seems.

“I find that my workout is really different now, because I gave birth. I feel like doing burpees now, after having a baby, is zero big deal,” she said.

When you think about it, she totally has a point – if we can go through hours of painful labour, a few squats here and there are not going to break us!
