We’ve really taken the concept of the baby shower to heart in recent years. Not too long ago we viewed it as a completely American idea, sort of like high school football games or Thanksgiving. But now we're all for them! And why not? Baby showers are fun, an exciting way to prepare for baby AND we get presents. What’s not love?
But now it seems dads are getting in on the action, if the latest trend of ‘Dadchelor’ parties is anything to go by! Yep, dads-to-be are having their last hurrah before nappies and baby puke become their new reality.
These parties can be huge blowouts to the likes of Vegas, to dinner and drinks, to parties at home with typical baby shower games tailored for dads such as nappy changing competitions and ‘pin the sperm on the uterus’.
We said it was a thing, we never said it was classy!
Aw, we think it's kind of adorable! You can see how excited the dads-to-be are, and it's so sweet that their buddies want to celebrate this new phase in their lives.
