About
Me & Mine Health is an app designed to help you keep track of and make sense of your own & your family’s healthcare. After a simple & quick set-up, a personalised schedule of tests & vaccinations is generated based-upon NHS guidelines.
Secure
Personal data are stored securely on your phone and not on a remote server. Data are password protected so if your phone is lost or stolen, your personal details remain safe. You can Email your password to a nominated Email address in case you ever forget it.
Ease of use
Simply enter date of birth, gender and what, if any, medical conditions you may have. A personalised schedule of screening tests and vaccinations is then generated based upon age and gender. If you have one of the featured common medical conditions, such as type 2 diabetes, a schedule of routine monitoring tests and vaccinations will also be generated.
Comprehensive
The app covers all ages from birth to old age, from childhood vaccinations, through screening tests for conditions such as cancer & heart disease, and on to routine tests to monitor a range of medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and stroke. It also has a section to record any travel vaccinations you might need.
Informative
Educational materials from NHS Choices are provided to help you better understand your own & your family’s healthcare. Simply tap the “?” icon next to a medical condition, test or vaccination.
Adaptable
Guidelines are written for populations and not individuals with their unique set of personal circumstances. Schedules can, therefore, be easily amended in line with a healthcare professional’s recommendations and your own personal preferences in keeping with the principle of shared decision making.
