Looking for some cooking inspiration? Lidl ambassador and best-selling cookbook author of The Daly Dish, Gina Daly shares her advice on traditional toppings with a twist, elevating your at-home burger creation with Lidl’s everyday products.

Caramelised onions: If you’re a fan of traditional toppings like onions, why not mix it up – opt for caramelised onions by simply frying your onions in a pan with some olive oil, soft brown sugar and balsamic vinegar – it adds that sweetness without the hassle!

Crispy jalapenos: While you’re there, throw in some sliced jalapenos and fry for a few minutes on a low heat to create the perfect crispy finish, adding crunch to your burger.

Grated carrot: Not the usual ingredient you’d see on a burger, but I promise it delivers. Simply grate your carrot, mix with small bit of onion and garlic, toss with parsley, cilantro and a hint of cumin. It’s delicious!
