Many parents now find themselves buying Halloween costumes from the local supermarket due to low prices and accessibility.

However, many of these costumes have been known to be hazardous for children and have been recalled because of fears of potential dangers to children.

That’s exactly what is happening with this Asda costume that is now being recalled because it was found to contain high levels of chemicals.

Parents are being told to return their Horrible Histories Gladiator Fancy Dress costume to stores to receive a full refund.

The supermarket chain has said that a small number of products were ‘found to contain higher level of one chemical above the limit set by the Toy Safety Directive’.

Reassuring parents that this is simply a precautionary measure, the supermarket chain has said that they are now carrying out internal testing on the costume.

There is no receipt or even packaging needed to receive your refund.

This joins a long list of children’s costumes that have been recalled from various supermarkets.

SHARE this to spread awareness to all parents.
