Actress Ashely Jensen has been left 'devastated' by the sudden death of her husband, Terence Beesley.
According to reports, 60-year-old Terence Beesley was found unconscious in his Somerset home.
Paramedics were quick to arrive at the scene, but sadly Terence was pronounced dead a short time later.
It is not yet known what resulted in the untimely passing of the writer, but an inquest is set to take place early in the new year.
A representative for Jensen, 48, who rose to fame starring in the Ricky Gervais comedy Extras, said: "Ashley is devastated and respectfully asks for privacy for her, her young child and the family at this extremely sad and difficult time."
Ashley and Terence met in 1999, and married in 2007. The couple have one son, Francis, who is just 8-years-old.
The couple met while they were working on a stage production of Shakespeare's King Lear, and later relocated to the California after Jensen landed a role in ABC comedy Ugly Betty.
They then married in Big Sur in 2007, with their dog Barney as ring-bearer.
