One baby is hard work enough for a tired mama, but can you imagine having FIVE in one go?
Well that’s the reality for mum Kim Tucci, from Perth, Australia, who after giving birth to quintuplets, is now the mother of eight children – and she’s only 26!
Kim gave birth to four gorgeous healthy baby girls, Penelope, Beatrix, Allie, Tiffany and one beautiful boy, Keith – a 1 in 60 million chance.
“50 fingers 50 toes, 6 hearts beating at once,” she wrote in a Facebook post. “My body fought the toughest of battles to get five babies here safely. Everything I did I did for them.”
The mum amassed a worldwide following after documenting her experience of being pregnant with quintuplets on her blog Surprised by Five. In the blog she shared pictures and offered quintuplet-mama insights like the fact she had to eat 6,000 calories and day and go for a wee over 12 times!
And now, with so many babies, it makes sense that the financial implications are huge, so to help raise money for a new nine-seater car, the mum and her husband Vaughn also set up a GoFundMe page. In just 23 days, $14,000 dollars was raised, a third of the amount needed.
Now Kim has shared the first snaps of these amazing little miracles, and we can’t stop going all gooey over them.
