Baby Archie: Prince George let the royal babys name slip earlier this year

The world has finally found out the name of Harry and Meghan's baby boy but it looks like Prince George let it slip earlier this year. Back in January the young royal was taking a stroll with his sister, Princess Charlotte, and grandmother Carole Middleton, when he came across a dog and stopped for a chat with its owner.

She said, "I was asked by a police minder not to take a photo of the children, which I didn’t, but George started stroking my dog. Just to be friendly I engaged in a bit of small talk."

The dog walker, who has chosen to remain anonymous, knew exactly who the future King was, but politely asked the little prince, "What's your name?".

George answered: "I'm called Archie", while petting her puppy with a big smile on his face. The young royal is definitely a dog lover.

"I don’t know why he calls himself Archie but kids often play with their names and I think it’s lovely," the dog owner said.

We're thinking George may have overheard his family discussing potential baby names and picked it up. We're sure he can't wait to meet his cousin.
