burp! boutique

The idea for burp! boutique arose after the birth of Kate & James Hayden-Ellis' daughter in January 2010.

Both Kate and James are designers and illustrators and have a passion for bold and bright creations. Being thoroughly disappointed with what was on offer on the high street for newborn girls (a dash of pink anyone?) they decided that they could collate a fabulous collection of baby and kids wear that would be unique, alternative and lots of fun. As well as clothes, they love books and have chosen some fabulous publications which include Nosy Crow and Anorak magazine. The Look section is dedicated to prints and posters and Kate works with illustrators to provide great exclusives for the shop. Their soft toys are sourced from around the world and chosen for their high sense of individuality and playful appeal. All of this makes up their happy little bundle of joy.
