The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be welcoming their baby boy or girl in the coming months and there’s no doubt the parents have been thinking about what name they’ll pick for their first born.
Mum-to-be Meghan recently confirmed that her due date is at the end of April/beginning of May, meaning she is six months pregnant.
The Duchess gushed about all things baby during a walkabout in Birkenhead earlier this month.
Meghan and Harry greeted members of the public during the royal engagement and gushed about baby Sussex.
One young girl couldn’t help but ask Meghan about what name they’ll pick for their son or daughter.
Seven-year-old told The Times: "I asked her whether she would call her baby Amy if she has a girl and she said 'That's a really pretty name, I like it, we'll have to think about it'."
The parents also revealed that they have decided against finding out the gender of their baby as they want it to be a surprise.
This means Harry and Meghan will have to consider both baby boy and girl names when thinking of a moniker for their first child. Luckily, gender-neautral baby names are becoming increasingly popular so they may even opt for one of them.
Bookies are predicting the couple will honour Harry’s late mum Princess Diana by naming their daughter Diana.
They’re also claiming the parents-to-be will honour Prince Philip, who Harry is incredibly close to by picking his name if they have a baby boy.
We’ll just have to wait and see what name they pick when Meghan gives birth in the coming months.
