The Manchester Arena terror attack claimed the lives of 22 innocent concert-goers on May 22, 2017.

Thousands of people were leaving the Manchester Arena after an Ariana Grande concert when suicide bomber Salman Abedi detonated a home-made bomb in the lobby of the venue.

One survivor of the horrifying attack has bravely auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent, alongside her encouraging dance troop Rise.

13-year-old Hollie Booth left viewers in floods of tears following their empowering and emotional performance.

Before they started their routine, Hollie explained that being back in Manchester is never easy, adding that this was the first time she had been inside a venue that was similar to the Manchester Arena.

The inspiring teenager was badly injured in the attack and cannot walk without the help of a splint. Hollie sadly lost her aunt Kelly Brewster who died in the terror attack.

Despite the tragedy, the teenager found the strength to perform in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

The group performed to Ariana Grande’s song One Last Time, as well as Salute by British girl band Little Mix.

The dance group, who are aged between 10 and 24, performed with wheelchairs as a sign of solidarity to Hollie.

The judges were moved by the touching performance, and all agreed that the girls deserved to go through to the next stage of the competition.

Hollie and her fellow dancers have been praised by viewers, with many saying they’ve made the entire UK proud.
