Billie Faiers has introduced her gorgeous new son to the world and revealed how her fiancé Greg Shepherd almost missed her going into labour.
The reality star proudly showed off new baby Arthur, in true TOWIE style, with a family photoshoot for OK! magazine.
Billie, 27, had previously announced the birth with a simple snap of Greg carrying the baby in a car seat, without Arthur’s face showing.
She captioned it: “Welcome to the world our beautiful baby boy we love you more than words can describe, you are truly perfect in every way ... 07/03/17.”
Billie is already mum to two-year-old Nelly and said she’d worried that she wouldn’t be able to love another child as much.
She said: “During my pregnancy, I thought a lot about how I could ever love another child as much as I love Nelly. It didn’t seem possible, but as soon as the midwife passed Arthur to me, I felt an overwhelming feeling of love. It was an instant bond.”
Billie recalled how her fiancé Greg almost missed the magical moment Arthur was born.
“Greg was over at a friend’s house watching football so I had to phone him and tell him I thought the baby was coming..."
“When Mum and Samantha arrived, Greg went to the Marks & Spencer in the hospital to get some supplies. While he was gone, the midwife got me out of the pool to check me over and told me I could start pushing.”
“My mum had to run out of the room to go and get him – luckily, he was back in time!”
And luckily for Billie, there was no sibling rivalry when little Nelly met her brother.
She said: “It was such a lovely moment. We were discharged at 8.30pm that same day, which meant she could meet him at home rather than in the hospital.”
Billie went on: “We walked through the door with him and she said: ‘Oh my goodness, my baby brother!’ She kept looking at my tummy, then at him and was stroking his head.”
Billie and Greg are now looking forward to planning their wedding after a three-year engagement. “I know we’ve been engaged for a while but it will be worth the wait to have both our children there with us on the day,” Billie explained.
We hope the kids will be involved – Nelly would make such an adorable little flower girl.
They’ll need to wait if they want Arthur as a pageboy but they do also have the option of Billie’s sister’s son, Paul for the role.
