We LOVE how this image shows that caring for our babies is a team effort – even when it comes to breastfeeding!
Yep, this mum has gone viral after posting an image on Breastfeeding Mama Talk showing her hubby push her around US store Target in a cart while she breastfeeds their 15 month old daughter.
Well, when baby needs to be fed, she needs to be fed, right?
The brilliant image was captioned, “How daddies can be part of the feeding process if their baby is breastfed... When you've been in the Target toy section for 45 minutes with your 10 year old birthday girl and the 15 month old wants to nurse you take their seat and nurse her while the hubs pushes you around.”
Not only does this look hella comfy (in fact, we’re jealous!), it serves to remind us that a supportive partner is incredibly important.
This dad is a bit of a rockstar as far as we’re concerned – and it seems that many commenters feel the same.
“Way to go mom but also way to go dad for his support in many ways,” said one. “It takes a strong and secure man.”
“I'm glad he is supporting her in her decision to breastfeed,” said another. “I get an ‘are you really going to do that HERE’ with a disgusted look or telling me not to when we are at his job because he doesn't want to get in trouble. What sense does that make?! I'm feeding my child whenever and wherever I please THANK YOU VERY MUCH!”
