Being a twin already draws you incredibly close to a sibling, but the Paulson sisters from Leicester, England, have just been bonded in another wonderful way.

Natalie and Leanne have made headlines around the world after giving birth to their babies in the same hospital, within just hours of one another.

The fraternal twin sisters, aged 21, fell pregnant at around the same time. And when Leanne was admitted to hospital with labour pains on 28th July, Natalie followed her just a day later.

The sisters were placed in rooms beside each other, and even met up in the corridor during the very early stages of labour to check on one another’s progress.

On 29th July, at 6:17pm, Leanne gave birth to a son named Carter. Just hours later, at 12:02am on 30th July, sister Natalie welcomed daughter Mila-Rose into the world.

In an interview with the Express, proud new mum Natalie said: “I knew it would be close but I never imagined we would be in rooms next to each other giving birth. The nurses couldn’t believe it!”

What a gorgeous story to share with their little ones when they get that bit older.

Congratulations to both new mums.

SHARE to amaze a fellow mum today.
