She is known for her incredible gestures to her devoted legion of fans, and it looks as though she has just completely outdone herself with this latest act.

Taylor Swift has come in for major praise today, for donating $50,000 to an 11-year-old fan who has been diagnosed with leukaemia.

Naomi Oakes is set to undergo six to nine months of treatment in her fight with cancer, meaning that she will miss her scheduled trip to see Taylor on her 1989 World Tour.

Naomi set up a GoFundMe page and proceeded to cover her song Bad Blood, sharing it with the star in the hope that she might be able to raise some awareness.

Well, she has certainly done just that. As well as messaging Naomi personally to send on her best wishes, Taylor donated $50,000 towards her treatment.

In a special note sent to Naomi, the Red singer wrote: “To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I’m sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let’s focus on getting you feeling better. I’m sending the biggest hugs to you and your family.”

Naomi’s family went on to share a video of her reaction to receiving the news and the message, and it has gone viral around the world.

Check out the touching moment in the video below.
