Mikaila and Harley met when they were just 17 years old. They were together just three months when Mikaila fell pregnant with the couple's first child, Indie.

Their son Reef was born two years later. And on Valentine's Day 2016, Harley got down on one knee while the couple were enjoying a cruise and asked her to be his wife.

Sadly, however, just one week after they returned from that magical trip, the mum-of-two was diagnosed with Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma, an incredibly rare form of cancer.

Mikaila is just 22-years-old.

Determined not to let this get in the way of living, the mum decided that her wedding would go ahead, and the couple started planning last year.

They got in touch with photographer Beth Fernley for a consultation, and everything changed when Beth met Mikaila.

The photographer asked the mum what would be her dream wedding, and then set about making it come true.

"As I was sitting there listening my mind was doing backflips; looking at this beautiful young couple who so desperately wanted this wedding but also had to battle daily with this disease," Beth wrote on Facebook.

"I asked Mik, if you could have your dream wedding, what would you want? So I had the idea to see if I could ask for help, and see if we could put together a dream wedding for Mikaila and Harley."

So she put a post on her page, asking for help to make the couple's dreams come true.

And she was blown away by the response.

Continuing, she wrote: "The amount of people that volunteered services and items was literally overwhelming. The day ended up having to be simplified as everybody struggled to choose what was needed but yesterday, in front of their closest friends and family, Mikaila married her best friend Harley.

"The day was made by the love, kindness and generosity of the incredible people that donated their time, their services and themselves. It was hot, it rained, but holy shit it was the best party!

"Even though it wasn't my wedding, I want to personally thank every single person who contributed. Who shared, who commented, anything."

And as can be seen by the photos, the couple definitely had the best time on their big day.
