Celebrities are no strangers to the corridors and wards of children's hospitals, and with quick hugs and brief chats enough to buoy most patients' spirits, we can only imagine the impact getting to perform a duet with your idol might have.

One little boy who recently experienced this was seven-year-old Jeremiah Succar.

The incredibly brave Jeremiah, who was diagnosed with stage-four atypical rhabdoid teratoid in May, has adopted Rachel Platten's Fight Song as his own personal anthem.

Opening up about his son's struggles, Jerry Succar explained: "He used to sing it when he got a lot of headaches, but now he sings it in the morning, before bed and during shots he has to get."

Learning of Jeremiah's battle with leukaemia through an Instagram campaign initiated by the little boy's family, Rachel arrived at the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, guitar in hand.

Perched on the Jeremiah's hospital bed, Rachel and her talented little fan performed the song of the summer in footage which has touched the hearts of thousands.

Take a look at this.
