Andrea Leadsom, who was in the running to become the leader of the Tory party before her infamous remark about being a better Prime Minister because she has children... has once again been propelled into the limelight for her comments.

In the interview that is supposedly to blame for her putting an end to her leadership campaign, Andrea said that it was in a parent’s best interest not to “employ a man” as a nanny.

The comments, which were not included in The Times’ original article, saw the now Environment Minister saying it is "sensible" not to hire a man to care for your child.

“As an employer we’re not - let’s face it - most of us don’t employ men as nannies, most of us don’t,” she told the paper.

“Now you can call that sexist, I call that cautious and very sensible when you look at the stats.

“Your odds are stacked against you if you employ a man. We know paedophiles are attracted to working with children. I’m sorry but they’re the facts.”

Obviously Twitter has not taken to kindly to her harsh words, with many followers making their views known.
