She has had her fair share of ups and downs over the past number of years, and we can’t imagine how frightening this latest incident has been for her.

Mother-of-five Kerry Katona took to Twitter last night to inform her fans that her husband, George Kay, was rushed to hospital with signs of stroke.

“Asking you all to say a prayer for my George. Been taken into hospital with signs of a stroke,” wrote the 34-year-old Atomic Kitten singer.

Needless to say, fans and followers were quick to send their well wishes for George’s speedy recovery, with one tweeting: “Sending huge hugs and you will all be in my prayers.”

Kerry and George have one child, one-year-old daughter Dylan-Jorge Rose, together. Kerry is also mum to daughters Molly, Lilly-Sue and Heidi, and son Max, from her previous marriages to former Westlife star Brian McFadden and taxi driver Mark Croft.

While Kerry has not yet provided an update on her husband’s condition, George himself later took to Twitter, revealing that he was hoping it was Bell’s palsy (a condition that causes temporary weakness or paralysis).

We’re wishing George a full and speedy recovery.
