It wasn't totally unexpected when Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey finally decided to part ways after four years, but it did leave fans a little heartbroken that they couldn’t make things work.
However, while Jessica, who is now mum to Ace Knute and Maxwell Drew, doesn’t regret her decision to get married she did say that it was one of her biggest financial mistakes.
Talking on CNBC’s Closing Bell, the mum-of-two, who has been married to Eric Johnson since 2014, said: “The biggest money mistakes? I don't know. For some reason I thought of my first marriage!"
However, it seems Jessica, who is worth a staggering €132 million, is not the only one to think that with host Kelly Evans revealing it is a fairly common answer.
The 35-year-old married the former 98 Degrees singer in 2002, and the pair invited the world into their married home with the show Newlyweds.
