Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan recently celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary – can you believe it? It honestly feels like only yesterday when Step Up came out!

The happy couple and their four-year-old daughter, Everly, decided to forgo fancy hotels and five-star-luxury for their anniversary; instead, they headed to a secluded cabin in the middle of the woods in Michigan, with no internet access.

While the setting sounds a bit creepy, the genetically-blessed duo actually enjoyed going back to nature and spending some quality time together.

Jenna explained: “I call (Channing) Bear Grylls. He really loves being outdoors, in nature.

“So, we went on a wilderness camp with our daughter, which is in the middle of nowhere in Michigan. And I can't even tell you where it was, because that's part of the deal.

If you need me...

“If you tell anyone, you can never come back. There's no address, there's no WiFi, there's no service. There's, like, one little internet cabin."

However, Jenna reveals that after a few days of no internet, both were beginning to crack and were paying sneaky visits to the only area which did have the WiFi!

"It was really funny, because we were like, 'You know what? We're going to enjoy this. We're not going to have internet'," Jenna continued. "The first day, you're feigning. You're like, 'I need to know my emails.’

“And then, one day, I was like, 'I'm going to go take a walk,' and Chan was like, 'Yeah, I'm going to take a walk, too'. We ended up at the internet café. I was like, 'I know where you were. I see you.'”

Jenna shared several snaps from her holiday to her Instagram account, and we have to say, it does look idyllic.

During an interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Jenna explained that she never expected to get the part of Nora in Step Up, because her screen test with Channing was “awkward”.

“We actually had a really awkward screen test,” she revealed. “So, the fact that I got that movie is shocking and must have been meant to be, because I had the wrong scenes, I did the worst read.”

She went on to say that during filming, the couple became “really good friends” and the relationship blossomed from there. “Here we are, 12 years later,” she concluded.

How cute! We wonder if they will go back to the cabin again next year?!
