In a moment not dissimilar to that of a royal, Chelsea Clinton left the hospital yesterday after welcoming her second child, Aidan.
Chelsea took to Twitter at the weekend to announce she had given birth to a baby boy.

Grandparents, Hillary and Bill were quick to announce their delight as a statement from the pair read:
"We are overjoyed to be grandparents again with the arrival of our grandson, Aidan Clinton Mezvinsky, born on Saturday, June 18th, 2016."

Bill Clinton shared an adorable snap of his first grandson on Father's Day saying the little boy had made "two dads very happy this Father's Day".

Leaving the hospital with Chelsea was her parents and proud dad-of-two, Marc Mezvinsky.
Chelsea later posted on Twitter a sincere thanks to all the staff that cared for her and her newborn at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Chelsea was beaming as she wore a navy printed dress which made no attempt to hide her beautiful post-baby body.
And in a world where we see far too many celebrities hiding their bumps after giving birth, Chelsea is rightly being praised for showcasing her shape.
