Over the weekend, Kristin Cavallari was hit with criticism that she starves her three young children, following a post she uploaded to Instagram.
The reality star took to the photo-blogging site to share a seemingly innocent shot of her family enjoying a seaside holiday, and was naturally shocked when the snap met with a wave of criticism.
Some followers believe Kristin’s sons Camden, three, and two-year-old Jaxon looked ‘too skinny’ in the photo, and let their feelings be known in the comment section.
However, while she was well able to defend herself by saying: “Yep. I starve my children. Just blocked the most people I’ve ever blocked in my entire life,” new mum Chrissy Teigen has also taken the time to speak up on behalf of the mum-of-three.
Chrissy, who is mum to baby Luna, knows all too well the nasty side of the internet when she was criticised for going out for dinner with her husband, John Legend, soon after giving birth, and made her views known.
Taking to Twitter, the model and Lip Sync Battle host, said that she is sick of people criticising others: "I will never know why parents criticize others so harshly, knowing they'd go insane if they were on the receiving end ALLTHETIME."
