Congratulations to Claire Danes, who just announced she has welcomed her second child into the world.
The actress and her husband Hugh Dancy surprised us all when they revealed her pregnancy earlier this year.
Claire proudly boasted that she was in her second trimester, hardly containing her excitement.
“This was planned. We’ve been wanting another kid for a while, and it happened,” she said in an interview on The Howard Stern Show.
And we are so happy that the fabulous pair of parents finally get to hold their little bundle of joy.
The award-winning actress and her husband already have a 5-year-old son named Cyrus, and now, he gets to have a little brother to play with.
The couple’s publicist told The Associated Press that the mum had given birth on Monday to another baby boy.
The acting duo have been married since 2009 and are overjoyed to have another addition to their small family.
The Homeland star has been fairly private during her pregnancy and has not posted on social media since March.
She announced that filming had finally finished for season seven of the action-packed drama Homeland. So far, the show has won four Golden Globes, and its intriguing plot combined with Claire's amazing acting makes it impossible to tear your eyes away from the intense thriller.
But now, the talented actress has her eyes on a new star - her beautiful baby boy.
The proud parents have yet to announce the baby’s name.
