We are suckers for some celebrity baby news, and people are absolutely loving this singer’s genius twist on his own recent announcement.
NSYNC star Chris Kirkpatrick has revealed that his wife, Karly Skladany, is pregnant with their first child – and he shared the news in the cutest way ever.
As some of you may already be aware, The Boss Baby is that latest animated treasure to hit the cinema screens, and it provided some oh-so perfect inspiration for the Bye, Bye, Bye singer and his other-half.
In a post uploaded to Karly’s Facebook page, the couple are seen posing beside a movie poster at the entrance of a subway station – but the poster has been doctored to suit their very special news!
“There is a new boss coming to town early in October,” wrote Karly, referencing the poster, which reads, ‘Baby Kirkpatrick, The Boss Baby, coming October 2017’.
Chris, 45, later confirmed their sweet news to People magazine, saying: “Karly and I are over the moon excited that we are welcoming a new addition to the family.”
“We are both looking forward to becoming parents and learning how much fun having a child will be.”
The couple will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary this year. They tied the knot back in 2013, surrounded by Chris’ former NSYNC bandmates; Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and JC Chasez.
No doubt Chris and Karly will be turning to Justin and his wife, Jessica Biel, for pregnancy and parenting tips! The couple are, of course, parents to baby son Silas, who will be two this month.
Justin, 36, has been refreshingly honest and vocal about his own path into fatherhood – and the difficulties that come along with it.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Can’t Stop the Feeling singer said: “Those first eight months felt like those old shows where people are balancing spinning plates on poles – except if you drop one, they die.”
Let’s hope Justin eases Chris into the advice in a calmer fashion! We’re wishing this happy couple all the best with the journey ahead.
