Beyoncé and Jay-Z aren’t the only celebrity parents celebrating this week – congratulations are in order for Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe, who has given birth to her first child.
The actress has reportedly welcomed a baby boy with her boyfriend, former Geordie Shore star Greg Lake.
New mum Jennifer confirmed the news to OK! magazine, who teased a full photo shoot and interview later on this month. We can’t wait!
While the couple have yet to share the name they have chosen for their newborn, or the details of the birth, it sounds like they will reveal all over the coming weeks.
Jennifer and Greg, who have been together for four years, announced their wonderful baby news back in February with a glossy magazine shoot.
Posing with her blossoming bump on display, 34-year-old Jennifer revealed that she was six months pregnant.
Recalling the moment they found out they were expecting, she told OK!: “We were very, very excited. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, really.”
She added that they were going to keep the gender of their little one a secret.
“I feel like I’m the one who’s got to go through labour, so if I’ve got a little surprise at the end, it might get me through however many hours it’s going to be!” she said.
While the couple have so far maintained silence across their respective social media channels, Greg did hint towards his son’s arrival on Sunday.
The former reality star, who now works as a personal trainer, posted a photo of a Father’s Day card addressed to ‘Daddy’.
Jennifer and Greg’s news rounds off an exciting few days for baby news from celeb-land, with official confirmation of the birth of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twins arriving on Sunday.
While the power-couple have yet to reveal the genders and names of their tots, reports claim that the newborns are still in hospital and being treated under bili lights for jaundice.
