Huge congratulations are in order as James Van Der Beek has welcomed his fifth child with wife Kimberly. The doting parents shared their wonderful news late last night.
The Van Der Beek family welcomed their newest addition on Friday, June 15.
“Thrilled to announce we welcomed a brand new baby girl into the world Friday morning, just in time for #FathersDay.”
The Dawson’s Creek alum revealed that their daughter’s name is Gwendolyn, which means fair and blessed.
James also has four children with wife Kimberly- two-year-old Emilia, four-year-old Annabel Leah, six-year-old Joshua and seven-year-old Olivia.
It’s safe to say little Gwendolyn will be well looked after with an army of siblings behind her.
The 41-year-old shared numerous snaps of his newborn girl. The photo of James cuddling his daughter is one of the cutest photos ever.
The shot of Gwendolyn’s siblings and mum Kimberly fawning over her has also melted our hearts.
James gushed about his wife who gave birth to their baby girl at home, “Oh, and Kimberly - you’re a f**king earth goddess rock star and I’m as in awe of you as I am in love with you.”
The proud dad-of-five also used his post to raise awareness about the ongoing issues with asylum seekers and border crossers in the United States.
“It wouldn’t be honest to wax poetic about my new-baby bliss without speaking up against this atrocity,” he wrote.
