Congratulations are in order this evening, with the announcement that Jason Biggs and wife Jenny Mollen have become parents for the second time.

Jenny and Orange Is the New Black star Jason welcomed a son, named Lazlo, on Monday, October 2. The newborn tipped the scales at 7lbs 1oz.

The couple are also parents to another son, three-year-old Sid.

The news was officially confirmed to Us Weekly by a rep for the couple, who said: “Mum, Dad and Big Brother Sid are doing great!”

Fans knew that Jenny was in labour, with the couple sharing social media updates from the hospital, in New York.

In one video, a tired-looking Jenny greeted fans from her bed; while in another, Jason spoke candidly about his nerves and concerns for Jenny during her labour.

Thankfully, everything worked out well for Jenny and her baby – we are so thrilled for the family!

Jenny and Jason have never held back on the intimate details when it comes to pregnancy and birth. Indeed, Jason shared regular video updates during Jenny’s labour with Sid.

One video showed Jenny sitting in the car after contractions began, saying, ‘It hurts so bad.’ This was followed by updates of Jenny moaning in her hospital bed, getting her epidural, and being wheeled into the delivery room.

Fair play to Jenny – we’re not sure we would be happy with such a personal process being broadcast to the world!

The couple have previously opened up about how much they love parenthood, with Jason admitting that it has ‘changed them completely’.

“She sees it in me, and I see it in her, and we’re stronger now because of it,” he said.

“That change that happens is so tangible. It happens overnight, and it’s the craziest thing.”

Congratulations to Jenny, Jason, Sid and their loved ones. What do you think of the name?
