A dad has made some EPIC built-in bunk beds complete with bookshelves for his lucky daughters – and has shared a step-by-step of how he achieved them on Reddit.
Not only are they gorgeous, we’re in awe by how little space they take up. And those stairs as opposed to the usual ladder? The tween girl in us (yes, she’s still here!) is acknowledging how crazy we would have gone for these back in the day.
And while personally, we’re not sure we could hammer a nail straight, we have to admit to being a little DIY-inspired by this dad’s amazing project.
“Built into the wall it only takes about 20" of floor space which makes the 14x12 room much larger than it would be with regular furniture,” the dad says. “Took about 3 weeks and right around $800.”
