Michelle Obama has shared a heartwarming photo from her wedding day and it has made us believe in love again.
Michelle has been sharing plenty of throwback snaps in the run-up to the launch of her new book Becoming.
In the latest photo, Michelle and Barack look as happy as ever on their wedding night. The former first lady gushed about their special day on Instagram.
“You can’t tell it from this photo, but Barack woke up on our wedding day in October 1992 with a nasty head cold. Somehow, by the time I met him at the altar, it had miraculously disappeared and we ended up dancing almost all night.”
She continued, “Twenty-five years later, we’re still having fun, while also doing the hard work to build our partnership and support each other as individuals.”
Michelle and Barack’s relationship is so strong it makes our hearts melt: “I can’t imagine going on this wild ride with anybody else.”
The pair recently announced that they have joined forces with popular streaming service Netflix. They will produce some of the strongest TV series and films, and even documentaries for the company.
Speaking of this exciting new venture, Michelle shared: “Barack and I have always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire us, to make us think differently about the world around us, and to help us open our minds and hearts to others.”
We cannot wait to see what stories these two lovebirds bring to Netflix in the future!
