Danielle Lloyd is mum to four beautiful boys. But the reality star hasn't ruled out the possibility of having a girl.

And for the low, low price of about £15,000, she can ensure that it's not just a possibility, but a fact.

The 34-year-old mum wants to use sex selection during her next pregnancy so she can have a little girl. Danielle defended her choice on BBC Radio 5 Live, saying, "I could continue to have babies and hope I’d have a girl but I want to be realistic. I’ve got four boys at the moment and they are a handful."

The process of sex selection is carried out by extracting the mum's eggs, which are then fertilised with the father's sperm in a lab. The embryos are scanned for gender and genetic disease before being implanted in the mother's uterus.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant said she'd be willing to undergo this procedure so she could have a 'little mini-me'.

"It’s always been my dream to have a little girl. It’s about having that mix and bringing up a little girl. I know she might not be ‘girlie’ - she probably won’t be with four brothers - but it’s just about having a little mini-me almost," the mum-of-four told Emma Barnett on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Fertility clinics in Britain and Ireland are currently banned from using sex selection on IVF embryos and frozen sperm. The only exception is if it is to avoid a specific genetic flaw being passed on.

The former Miss Great Britain was slammed when she announced she would travel to Cyprus in order to go through the process of sex selection.

Danielle has spoken out despite this backlash because she said it is a procedure that many go through quietly due to the stigma. The model said she has privately received support from other women online who have done the same.

"A lot of people are doing it but they keep it quiet, and that is what’s so frustrating for me," she confessed on The Emma Barnett Show.

As a celeb mum, Danielle is not alone. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend chose Luna's gender when they had her embryo implanted via IVF.

Chrissy had for a long time struggled to conceive naturally. She and her crooner hubby know that the baby she's currently carrying will be a boy, as that is the sex of the embryo leftover from her last round of IVF.

What do you think of Danielle's decision, mums?
