Massive congratulations are in order this morning following the news that former boyband member, Nick Carter, is set to become a dad for the first time!
According to an inside source, the former Backstreet Boys star, who is currently competing on Dancing With the Stars, will soon be welcoming a little bundle into the life he shares with wife Lauren Kitt.
The 35-year-old singer, who exchanged vows with fitness expert Lauren in Santa Barbara in April 2014, admitted his previous stance on marriage changed when he began dating Lauren in 2013.
According to an insider, the couple, who documented their love story on VH1 reality show I Heart Nick Carter, have been hoping to start a family for quite some time so are understandably overjoyed to learn that they will become parents in 2016.
Speaking to Us Weekly, the source gushed: "'They are so happy and overjoyed. They've been trying and waiting for such a long time."
