Anyone who has lived beside a noisy or nosy neighbour will know that it brings its fair share of challenges, but some complaints are just too ridiculous to be true.
This seems to be the case for one Arizona inhabitant, who recently received a letter threatening police involvement over their child’s ‘laughing, giggling and carry on’!
Shared by the Twin Cities News Talk Facebook page, the letter was written by a ‘concerned’ neighbour who has just had enough.
Branding the parent ‘inconsiderate’, the unnamed neighbour condemns them for letting their small child ‘run free’ in their own back garden.
“This is very disruptive for my two dogs and my bird who sits next to the window and like to look into your yard. Perhaps you could ask him to tone it down a bit, or at least limit his outside time to 15 – 20 minutes a day so my dogs can be outside without seeing him running around,” wrote the neighbour.
They even threaten to call the police if this ‘behaviour’ persists.
While there has been no word on how the parent responded, Facebook users have some ideas as to how they would reply if they received the letter.
“Daily birthday parties with a bounce house and 15 – 20 kids. That’s how I would respond,” joked one commenter, while another suggested inviting ‘the entire preschool over for a bimonthly house party’.
