There may be less than two years in age between them, but it seems that Drew Barrymore’s daughters are already very, very different.

The Hollywood actress was appearing on The Ellen Show this week to discuss motherhood and turning 40, when she shared a hilarious insight into the differences between two-and-a-half-year-old Olive and one-year-old Frankie.

Speaking of her eldest, Olive, the 40-year-old revealed: “I don’t know exactly who she is, but it’s just fascinating to find out who your children are.”

The Charlie’s Angels star went on to describe her little ones as polar opposites, explaining that while Frankie is “so happy all the time”, even just saying “hi” to Olive leads to blank expressions and deep suspicion. Check out her impressions in the video below – we’re sure that many of you will be able to identify!

Drew also went on to explain that turning 40 has brought a sense of peace and comfort that she previously could not find.

“When I was a kid, I felt like I should be older because I was working and not really being a kid. Then when I was in my 20s, I was like, ‘I want to be a kid, finally’. Now, it’s the first time in my life that my age has met up with where my life is, and it’s perfect,” she explained, adding, “I love being 40.”
