Logan Knowles has one pretty cool birth story.

The little boy was born in a McDonald's car park, and his parents Leah and Carl have just given him a McDonald's-inspired photoshoot to mark his unusual arrival.

It all kicked off when Leah (29) from Essex went into labour two weeks early.

Realising she wasn't going to make it to the hospital, she and Carl decided to pull into a nearby McDonalds.

While little Logan was well on his way by the time paramedics arrived, they got there in time for the final push.

"At least when it happened it was quite quiet at the time with not many people around," Leah told metro.co.uk.

New dad Carl added: "It was all very surreal - I have never been so pleased to see blue lights in my life."

Naturally, Logan's unusual birth story got a fair bit of attention.

He even appeared in local paper, Southend Echo.

And before long, mum Leah had another idea to mark his funky arrival. She asked her friend and photographer Naomi Barker to help her pay fitting tribute to Logan's birthplace.

"I was trying to figure out what prop would work better and originally thought of a Big Mac box with a baby on it, but then I got a drink cup which I noticed had the words “thank you” on it, which seemed perfect," Naomi said.

"I think Leah and Carl are using it on their ‘thank you’ cards to everyone who has bought them presents."

She added: ‘It’s a perfect keepsake for him when he’s older and Leah has kept the cup also for something for them to hold onto.’

What a great story for Logan to tell his mates when he grows up!
