Whether we like to admit it or not, our offspring generally tend to have a better handle on technology than we do.

While we sailed through childhood without laptops, iPads or smartphones, our children appear to be experts when it comes to these newfangled inventions.

Or maybe we’re just a little slow off the mark…

Suggesting that this might indeed be the case is the lovely Joseph Griffin who was gifted a GoPro by his son, Evan, before a trip to the States.

Having encouraged his father to document the sights, sounds and landmarks of his holiday in Las Vegas, Evan was stunned when he found himself viewing footage solely of his father.

Not familiar with a GoPro, Joseph pointed the device in the wrong direction for the entire trip leaving viewers with no option but to simply imagine the sights Evan’s father soaked up while abroad.

Commenting on the footage which he uploaded to YouTube, Evan said: “Gave my Dad my GoPro while he was in Las Vegas, I did not, however, instruct him on how to use it, so my dad being my dad, and a culchie, didn’t know which way to point the thing.”

Take a look at this if you’re in need of a good laugh!
