Fruit, surprisingly, can really bring out the flavours in a savoury dish.

Such is the case with pork chops, whose flavour really comes out with some peach slices.

Add the right herbs into the mix, and top it off with a few walnuts, and you have yourself a tasty, healthy dish that all the family will enjoy.

And best of all? The recipe is easy-peasy! Here’s how to make ‘em…

Ingredients:

4 pork chops

2 tbsp butter

1 peach (sliced)

½ cup walnuts (halved)

1 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves

2 springs of thyme

2 tbsp brown sugar

Salt and pepper

Method:

1. Season the chops with salt and pepper.

2. Melt some butter in a pan over a medium heat. Then add the peach slices and cook them until they’re golden brown on both sides (about two minutes). Once they’re done, put them on a place.

3. In the same pan, cook the chops on both sides for about five minutes.

4. Place the peaches, walnuts, rosemary and thyme over the chops, and sprinkle some brown sugar over them. Cover and cook for another 4 minutes. Serve!
