Emmerdales Charley Webb reveals agonising pregnancy condition diagnosis

Charley Webb has opened up about been diagnosed with an agonising condition ahead of giving birth.

The Emmerdale star, who is seven months pregnant with her third child spoke to OK! magazine about the impending birth.

The 31-year-old is suffering from symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD), which affects your pelvis and back.

She said, ''I still get waves of sickness but I’ve also been diagnosed with SPD. It’s when your muscles have relaxed too much ready for birth. It’s agony.''

She continued, ''Matthew’s up for a home birth but I’d like to be in a hospital for the sake of my own anxiety, in case anything went wrong."

Charley, who is married to fellow co-star Matthew Wolfenden, is mum to two sons - nine-year-old Buster and three-year-old Bowie.

Charley, who is due in July, went on to say that she finds pregnancy tough.

She revealed, ''I’d be lying if I said I really enjoy the experience of getting bigger but I appreciate what my body is doing. I think pregnancy is amazing.''

The gender of the baby is being kept as a surprise, but Charley has a feeling she knows what she's having.

She said, ''Buster was so desperate for Bowie to be a boy and he was, so it would be nice to have that same thing for Bowie. It doesn’t matter to me at all.''

We wish the pair all the best as they enjoy the last few weeks of the pregnancy and get ready to welcome their new addition.
