The rail operator Eurotunnel has been forced to cancel thousands of bookings after "extreme temperatures" have wreck havoc to services.
The firm says in order to ease the delays, they have taken the “unprecedented decision” to stop passengers travelling for day trips or overnight stays on Friday.
Additionally, any passengers that arrive more than two hours in advance will not be able to check in due to the volume of traffic.
On Thursday, passengers faced delays of up to six-and-a-half-hours when air conditioning units seize to work on trains.
Due to the extreme temperatures affecting the shuttle air conditioning and the resulting delays, we have taken the unprecedented decision to cancel daytrip/overnight tickets travelling Friday 27th July. Please look out for an email; we're sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Currently, those arriving at the Folkestone Terminal are being met with "30 mins delay pre-check-in, and two hours wait on site."
The company recommends that you "stock up" on water before you arrive at your terminal.
The Eurotunnel warned yesterday that ferry companies “do not have availability to take any of our customers”.
