But this is definitely up there as being one of our favourites, especially with the baseball.
Uploaded to YouTube by Vloggers Sarah and Daniel, they explain how they were at a friend's gender reveal, when things didn't quite go to plan.
As can be seen in the clip, the reveal involves a baseball and baseball bat.
Dada-to-be is meant to hit the ball hard enough so that it cracks and allows the powder inside escape, which will reveal their baby's gender.
They have to practise first though, so Mum throws the spare ball at Dad who wallops it across the garden - but it doesn't crack.
Next up is the real ball - the one that contains the powder - and obviously the expectant mum is a little nervous about throwing it.
"What if it doesn't crack?" she asks.
But when she does finally throw it, things don't quite go according to plan - and it has nothing to do with the ball not cracking!
