As Joe and Sarah Haden’s video proved this morning, sometimes it’s the simplest ideas which can have the most impact when you are making a pregnancy announcement.
This is something that BabyCentre writer Becky Vieira realised recently, while racking her brains for an idea to share the good news with her loved ones.
In an article entitled ‘My 100-year-old grandma nailed my pregnancy reveal’, Becky revealed that, in the end, the concept of going to elaborate lengths to make her announcement was trumped by the idea of keeping things simple and personal.
So, in one of two announcements, Becky presented her beloved grandmother with her pregnancy test and then filmed her reaction – and it could not have worked out better!
At first, it seems that Becky’s grandmother has no clue what she is holding in her hands, and this is confirmed when she goes to take the lid off – BIG mistake! She eventually gets there, though, and her reaction is one of the most beautiful we have ever seen!
