When MummyPages heard about Bridport’s Festival of Culture, we were amazed at the amount of fun activities taking place. This isn’t your typical cultural event – this is really something special for the family.

At Bridport’s Festival of Culture, from now until August 27th, kids are going to love all the fun events. There will be like children’s art workshops, puppet creation master-classes, child-friendly ‘scary’ theatre, Olympic trampoline taster sessions, Jurassic Coast discovery tours, a real-life marauder as a Pirate Day, electric bike-ride trails, ‘forage-learning’ guides for Dorset’s wild array of edible delicacies, a Dr. Who extravaganza, arts and sports events for those with special needs, as well as the nocturnal pyrotechnical and cinematic dream of Beach Party and much, much more.

As well as all these fantastic events, there will be open-air performances from musicians, bands, dancers, jugglers, mime-artists, street opera stars and poets, all brought together to bring the streets of Bridport to life.
