Twitter has been the site of many a celebrity feud over the years, and while it’s always best to take the high road and keep your drama away from social media, one famous dad just couldn’t resist a public rant today.

Chris Brown, who is father to one-year-old daughter Royalty with model Nia Guzman, took to Twitter this evening to share some harsh words about the young mum.

“Some men my age run from their responsibility as fathers. I embrace mine. Just sucks that some females use children as meal tickets,” wrote the 26-year-old.

The Beautiful People singer added: “Using a child as leverage is never ok. The highest praise to the men who actually want their kids.”

While the exact reason behind Chris’ statements is unknown, this isn’t the first time there have been reports of drama between Chris and Guzman.

Earlier this year, it emerged that Chris was caught up in a legal battle with Royalty’s mum. While the pair had reportedly decided upon a $10,000-a-month child support deal, relations between them broke down when the singer sought a visitation only to find out that his daughter was with his mother, without his knowledge.

Given how Chris has a notoriously strained relationship with his mother, Joyce Hawkins, the incident was said to have left a bitter taste in the singer’s mouth.

Drama aside, Chris has taken to parenthood like a duck to water, and is frequently seen gushing over his little one on Instagram.
